chicago's weather is wearing me down
one day there’s a snow storm, the next it’s rainy and warm. make up your damn mind!! the weather’s been so bi-polar that i even contemplated moving to california. not a huge fan of cali but due to the unfavorable weather i was beginning to get desperate.

my baby got us guitar hero for wii!!! target has a special where you can buy a dual pack (2 guitars + game) for $88. i still hate target and try my hardest not to shop there. worst customer service ever. but a good deal is a good deal.

i had a 3 day weekend which would have been fun any day when the weather is pleasant but 3 days off boarded in your apartment sucks!

breakfast of champions
for breakfast i had some butter pecan ice cream from oberweis.
Watchi don’t know why i have this song stuck in my head. i don’t even listen to beyonce. i’m just not ready for her jelly.
the traffic
i spent about 4 hours in traffic today because of the horrible weather condition. it took me longer because i had to go to the bathroom really bad so i went to a target and ended up shopping (sort of).
the pick up
i’m excited to pick my aunt from the airport tomorrow. why she wants to leave hawaii and come to chicago during the winter is beyond me but i’m just glad she’ll be able to spend the holidays with us.
looking at my finances depresses me
i am in between jobs and have to wait until the end of the month to get paid. this means that i am broke. time to sell my unwanted goods which is a good thing because the apartment won’t be so cluttered by stuff i was going to give away/sell anyway.
i’ll be swimming in the money next month like duck tales…can’t wait.
new job
the more i go to work the more excited i am about this new job. i found out that i get my own office and i get to wear whatever i damn want on the days i’m in the office. oh, and i also get a fancy blackberry phone. score!
oh, and yesterday i ran into my 5th grade teacher! so weird/random.
first day at work
it’s funny how people act differently (nicer) when someone with authority is around. they treat others poorly but when they see you, they’re so nice to people. they should be nice all the time.
career woman
i am now officially a career woman. i can’t wait to start wearing stylish pant suits and blouses. haha.

i didn’t think it was going to happen so fast but he’s been arrested for federal corruption charges this morning. yikes!!
living la vie da thrifty
yesterday i had a naked lady party and got some really cute stuff. so excited to wear some of it real soon. i also got a pair of kick ass suede mid calf length boots. ftw!
today, went to the thrift for the weekly 50% off mondays at unique and found a pair of brown shoes and 3 pairs of glasses. i’ll have to change the lenses but the frames are kick ass.
i spent $3.65 total today.

in highschool, i used to have the best gaydar but years of not using it may have broken mine.
i read in time out chicago yesterday that suze orman is gay. i totally didn’t think she was. not that it matters. i still love her but now i know that she can love me back and mean it.
but really. am i the only one that didn’t think she was gay?
